Have you tried posting about your website on forums for affiliates? There is one way to get known. Sometimes even your own users can become affiliates - if they blog or interact on user forums - another good option to consider. Of course, sites like Freeones are very useful, try looking for ones that are similar. There's a great one for the big boob niche called BoobPedia that's very popular, for example.
Communicate with popular Twitter and/or Instagram accounts - sometimes getting them to promote you pays off for both you and them

traffic is very hard to have directed to a website, is it best to purchase some and if so, which traffic company would you use?
@TheNatalieK, I spoke to some guys form DivaTraffic, they're targeting solo market. But this isn't really a recommendation - I don't know how good their traffic is, just a site I saw. There are plenty of big and reputable adult traffic companies which you can look at - Exoclick, JuicyAds, PlugRush, TrafficShop, TrafficHouse etc - you just need to find the one that fits you in terms of ad platforms they engage and the advertising methods you can utilize.

I just wanted to throw this link out there for anyone who has a FreeOnes account: https://freeones.wetransfer.com/ That's the form you can use to submit your photosets and videos for them to promote you. Your content will appear under 'Latest FreeOnes Galleries' on their homepage and also on your personal FreeOnes profile page. Sometimes it can take a couple weeks for your content to show up because they only release a certain amount per day, but it'll eventually get up there.
