Promotion during Show Season
It is show season! Many of us are gearing up for Xbiz, Internext and Adult Entertainment Expo. Though it can be hard to work during a show, it is also a great time for tweeting! It is photo opp time!
Most of the shows have their own hashtag, though AEE is primarily using their tag @aeexpo. When you are at the show make sure to use the hashtag or tag associated. Take pictures of yourself getting ready. Take pictures at the show. Post pics of you with fans, at parties, gambling, at the bar, in the car, on a bus, on a train, in a drain...sorry, got a bit Dr. Seuss on you there. But you get my drift. Try to do some live broadcasting from the event using Persicope.
The point is, there will be a lot of eyeballs looking at the tweets surrounding the show. It is a great time to get out in front of a new audience and boost your organic growth. If you are going to be at a booth, make sure to tell people. If you are going to be at a company's booth, tag them and ask them to give you retweets (if they aren't doing it already).
