YouTube

Hello

We had an youtube channel with non nude content and it was banned pretty fast. Ok, there was her name which could be found in "porn star" lists on some of the sites. But how happenes this girl and some others keep the channels on line? I bet i saw her pussy on some of clips. https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=jenny+scordamaglia    What is the deal?

  • Tbh, I think it's a matter of getting caught. I.e. that's still up because noone's reported/come across it just yet.

You should be ok if you stay non-nude entirely. Vimeo, btw, has a better tolerance for nudity, especially arty stuff.

I know at least one of MC models runs a very successful YT channel, but that's dedicated to cosplay, which is her hobby. She does get fans following her to the website too ofc.

  • @Natalie Does vimeo allow link on video to our xxx site?  Because we used to have erotic channele on vimeo but they banned it also.  One of sugestions why it happened was because videos had water mark link to our payed site.

  • @akaAlex you have to make sure to keep the tour more soft, and the splash page totally non-nude. Could you have put up nudes on the warning page?

  • @akaAlex DailyMotion has a category specifically for adult material. Their TOS isn't the best at drawing a line in the sand as far as what's too sexual to be on the site, but as long as it's solo content with no penetration, should be fine. They seem pretty liberal about what you link to from that content as well.

Watermarks should be fine, and actually that's what I'd suggest to avoid linking to content in videos. Either that or a verbal call-to-action. Hell, if you rank #1 for the stagename, then sometimes a name-drop could be enough to tell people where to find you.

@natalie yes, we've had nude pics on splash page. Now we have it blured. Could you check if this ok?  JenySmith.net

hm, so for the tour pages we have to choose only non nude thumbnails for the content.

    @webcamstartup ;

thanks for sugestions! I'll try to start her new account on daily motion with only her stage name. It's on top on google so should be fine. Youtube was not happy of it though. Banned the channel and then account also.

  • from DM forbidden rules :

any sexually explicit content (..... explicit depiction of male or female genitalia or pubic areas....). it's written "or public areas" What does it mean? it sounds like "explicit depiction of public areas"  or do they mean "in public areas" ?

  • Like I said, their TOS is very unclear and that comma is a great example of poorly-written technical writing.

Yes, if read literally, DM could ban someone for dipicting public places in their content.

They're pretty liberal about it though. Seems like most of the content removed is more likely for DMCA reasons than TOS violation. There's tons of content that features full nudity on the site. I don't know if it has to be a closeup of a pussy to be classified as "female genitalia" or if all the other videos are non-compliant due to showing lower-body nudity but haven't been taken down because nobody cares.

They do basically give themselves the right to remove / ban anything and anyone with the language "including but not limited to" so if they *REALLY* want something gone, it don't matter if it's technically compliant or not.

Hell, for all intents and purposes, they could even ban someone for "Explicit depiction of non-public areas".....
