Value of a Retweet

Lets talk about the value of the retweet.  Favorites have become the new like. So if someone tweets something that you like, you give it a favorite. This is great for tweets that are talking about coffee, or the kind of day someone is having. But if it is a tweet that is promoting you, it is a good idea to retweet.

Let me tell you why:

  1. It encourages the original tweeter to continue posting about you, which you want because they are sending you traffic.
  2. It boosts your popularity, thus increasing the likelyhood of appearing in top tweets.
  3. It shows you are engaged with your audience, and encourages more people to tweet tweet about you.
  4. Lastly, it sends you traffic and we all love traffic

I want traffic. You want traffic.  We ALL want traffic.  The more relevant tweets with links you put out there, the higher your click rate will likely be. The more traffic you have the more money you make. Giving a retweet to somone who is tweeting your content, increases the reach of that content as well.  The more favorites and retweets there are, the more there will be. It is a snowball effect. You want people to put your content out there as much as possible, which means you need to give their content some love back.

@Modedsdotxxx is the Twitter account that promotes the MC models. The account posts pictures that appear on Models.xxx and the links, and is trying to send traffic to your site. It is a good idea to retweet your tweet when you are tagged in it. This will help drive more traffic to your site and make your more money.
