Twitter has video!!!!

Twitter just announced yesterday (Jan 27) that they are integrating a video feature into tweets. You can now upload a video into a tweet! The video is embedded directly into the tweet and plays in the tweet. This is a pretty amazing new feature. You can only load video from your phone, however.  I did a video break down of how to use this new feature.

Even though you cannot yet upload video content, this still gives you a great opportunity to show some fun videos on your newsfeed. It is great for any behind the scenes video footage, or just video of you. 

If you do not have the video option in your Twitter app yet, you can go here to request it. They will send you an email with a link to the app. I recommend removing your old app and installing the new one. It seems to take 15-30 minutes for the video feature to appear on your phone app, after the new installation.
