SEO - Titles, Keywords and Site Description

When I search my website via google, I dislike the fact that I can't see my site description in the results page. It would be nice if we could implement site description in addition to having the ability to create titles and keywords for our pages.

I already appreciate what Model Centro provides as a selling platform, but having the ability to boost SEO would be BADASS! Disregard this if there is already a way to do this. I'm a newbie to MC.😃

  • Keywords don't do anything anymore, but I agree 100% with the titles and descriptions. It'd be nice to have auto-generating XML sitemaps, too.

  • I got ahold of the support and they said that can add meta titles, descriptions and tags to your site.

  • Yeah. one can find the H2 H3 once you "inspect" your own website.

That with the friking XML sitemap needs a fix or a solution.

I really wish i could embed some Reddit and Facebook Posts

Will it ever be posible to use HTML to use embeding? at least in the Blog.

I also would love to advertise a local Adult store on my site

  • I believe the blog supports the embedding of some of the tube sites. If it doesn't, I know MC was floating the hypothetical and asked the community what sites they'd want supported.

There is a reason no hosted solutions give access to the hosted files / all of the code. Being that all performers / studios need to be verified for 2257, you gotta imagine that risk is fairly mitigated, as opposed to lets say WordPress.com or BlogSpot, ect. Still, there is reasons why you would want to still be somewhat restricted.

It would be awesome to see a self-hosted version of ModelCentro that gives more control. I'm assuming that's something that will never happen though.

  • Is worth mentioning that ModelCentro will do customizations (within reason) that are requested. Ya know, for things you can't do in the provided editor.

  •  i started with Modelcentro. so 7 months ago i had no clue what HTML looked like.

I understand. but there are other sites like my tumbler, facebook or Reddit that would give a feel of conectedness into my site.

TBH im astonisched how many social networks exist. Google added tons.

    StumbleUpon is cute.

Adding LinkedIn would be a marvel to offer my newly learned Web skills XD

Since im bejond just amateur solo model. meeting people at LinkedIn gives the whole porn modeling/studio/SMO a nice ring. I helped another site out with its FB page and earned a few bux.

Yeah i know GFY.com is the place to do that but i like to have all the options and then deside wich works best for me

  • On the subject of SEO, has anyone seen any radical shifts in organic traffic over this past week? Barry Schwartz talked about tools and forum chatter hinting at a November 15th update. Didn't notice anything across any of the domains that I've got access to on or around those days, but I've had over 50% increase in organic on the 19th and the trends continued these past couple days, even though it should be dead due to Thanksgiving.

All traffic increase is US-based, so it has nothing to do with the alleged TLD update. I'm honestly speculating that the mobile-first finally rolled out, although that is 100% pure speculation.

Anyone else noticing some radical changes?

  • The other thing i was thinking. if i can edit to some extent then i could add affiliate models banners to a blogpost. Or Ie advertise a online tool like Canva.com to unlock the payed features.

Wordpress might soung cool but that thing buggs like hell. feels like using a overly patched windows... XD hahahaha

Its cool to experiment and toy arround or generate some traffic

Yeah i was wondering how i could personalize my site further. subfolders to my vids or blogs. Maybe change the order of the tabs. Home and next to it the Blog and vids.

having a teny tiny button with 10 pages at the bottom sucks.

free members dont even see a button and leave instead of digging more.

  • edited November 2017
tbh i find it hilarious that one can inspect and edit the code.
sometimes the system denies it. but sometimes it just goes trough and works.
some google tools can be added by just inspecting the page while in the Design editor.
I was wanting to ask if that is normal or if i am doing something shouldnt?
  • google optimize the meta descriptions based on the user query !

at the end of the day it's not a bad thing !

  • No, Nate I did not.
