I remember some time ago there being talk of the implementation of this feature for other fundings aside of camcon. I was wondering if and if so when this feature might be available?

It was pushed back by the store feature but now that Store is live, as soon as all hiccups are ironed out with it the crowdfunding should be the next on the to-do list of big features.
