Google Analytics Goals
Hi ModelCentro people
We would love to be able to see, for every person who signs up to our site, which website they came from (Google, Twitter, Tumblr etc) to be able to invest more time and effort into the sites that convert well for us.
This was kind of working until recently - we were targetting the URL of the second step in the join process ("join/step2"), and even though it doesn't always correspond to new members (some people drop off at that step) it was still good info. But since July 4th this has stopped working for some reason.
Any idea why it stopped working? Is there any URL we could set up as a goal that would give us the info we need (where the user came from)? We are aware that this info is usually part of the ecommerce data in google analytics, but it seems to be missing from your implementation of it.
Thanks!

Bruce and Morgan! Please check this article on how to set up ECommerce Tracking: http://community.modelcentro.com/index.php?p=/discussion/912/how-to-set-up-ecommerce-tracking-in-google-analytics#latest
Hi Sahsa,
We did set this up already 2 months ago (exactly as described in the tutorial) and we still don't see any sources data in our ecommerce reports. We never did. For example, in the "Acquisition" - "All Traffic" - "Source/medium" report, the conversion rate for every single one of our traffic sources is 0% (except "none").
Additionally, while we used to see who got to the step 2 of the join page, we don't anymore. It was working until july 4th, and then stopped.
I guess we'll try support. Thanks anyway.
