As many of you during the years I have faced a lot of problems with the way I was promoting the services my models and I ffered, etc. One thing that counts though is the fact that all these problems needed a solution and with years of me finding solutions I have gained some experience on the branding of model, promotion and over all maintanence of model's image.
First thing you need to keep in mind, your image is your business and the way you mantain your business will be reflected in your income. Building a site is a different business than caming, is what I like to call "The Future". A site will not only generate income when you are online but also when you are offline, for as long as you update it, customize it and take care of it.
There is another topic here where the importance of a logo is debated, a logo and a clean design are the first signs of a quality sites.
Say you don't know how to make a logo or you don't know any graphicians that could help you? What do you do?
Start with:

These simple tools are easy to use and great for the creation of a logo to begin with. When it comes to customization of your site, you need to understand the importance of:
1. User Experience ( The main part about this is already taken care by ModelCentro since the sites are very simple to use) ... BUT! There are some things you need to take care of such as the colors you use on your site, the text (font and color) and the pictures, both the background ones or the ones on site, they need to be at a good resolution and clear, each section on the model admin shows you what resolution the picture should be. You don't know how to adjust the photos? Don't worry, i got your back, you don't need photoshop all the time.
You can easily edit all your pictures before uploading them on the site with tools like

These sites are fairly easy to use and for those of you that don't know how to use them at all, there is a simple solution - search on google "edit photos online tutorial", you will be surprised by the amount of results you will get. Pretty much remember this word for everything that you don't know: TUTORIAL. Do you want to add a rain effect on your photo? Google "rain effect tutorial" 
The last thing I will mention about user experience is something that we all learn the hard way, what WE like is not necesarly what the user likes and since he is the one who pays, make sure to always get his feedback, a month worth of customers feedback can change the whole way you see your site.
2. Updated content
No matter if you write a blog post about the ancient aliens having sex with a interstellar black hole or you write about you and your experiences, always make sure that blog of yours is always running. Not only that the users will love it but there are some little creatures that absolutely love blog posts, those are the search engine robots, they crawl all day long looking for fresh content and then delivers it to the results you then get on google. How many times haven't you find yourself in the situation where you are searching for something, say "lotion cream for dry skin" and instead of getting some online stores you discovered articles about that very thing? I bet is pretty often. Well, now you understand better how a decent text over subjects you relate with can attract a lot of organic users, users that are searching exactly for what you have to offer.
3. Happy Costumers. Make sure your costumers are happy, don't just make a site and just visit it every now and then, create a community, make them feel you are close, your site is their access to your personal life, or at least that is what most of the members want to believe. Just give them what they want, talk to them, answer to their messages, post things about your day, perform liveshows for them, etc.
Performing a live show can be sometimes "harsh" for girls used to gain 2-3-4-5-6-7 dollars a minute and they all tend to avoid it for as much as possible. As I said in the beginning, your image is your business and the first notion about business, one that we all know is that in a business you need to invest! No, not only money but also time, sometimes that time invested in your business will be more valuable than the money you invest in you. Why? Easy, back to nr 3, you keep the costumers happy.

@Danny I seen A lot of complaints for Fans about they never want to hear about a Models Personal Life. Exact Words are they don't care.
I tend to disagree with you, when I talk about personal life, I don't mean about a model's bills, issues and dieing aunts
Members don't care about a model's life when that model is using a sad story to increase her "damage"....
What the member wants is as much as the model as he can get. He wants to see her naked, yes, but he also wants to see her shopping, or showing a nipple on top of the mountain, things that are part of her every day life, but then again this rule doesn't apply to everyone, if your members are used in a specific way and you actualy made research then just go with what you are providing but what I have seen in all these years are men falling inlove, becoming obsessed with the model they follow, when they do this, that is when the most money come. And for the money to come you need content, blog articles, cam shows, shirts, mugs ... you name it, a fan will buy anything from and with you!
But yes I was requested to acually post what exactly going on right now by a fan. It was odd he and them all wanted to know what I was going through. First time I ever posted something that personal
I told you is different from model to model, what I recommend you to do is to find out what your fans like and act accordingly, if they want to know about your day, you can write a blog post and tell them how you went shopping or what movie you seen, you can add some spicy details to make them curious for more.
Like on tv, when you watch a TV series, all the time you are left hanging. Do the same with them, be their TV show!

I will write this article in bold because even if it is something you may not look over is very, very important.
TEXTS ON THE SITE
When you start building a site on MC you are presented with a list of template choices, templates that can and should be later modified by your own taste. What most people do is to edit the colors and upload the background pictures leaving the main texts there. I thought about the best way of explaining why this is not good.
Think of GOOGLE, YAHOO, BING, etc as teachers. Imagine those teachers gave you to write a story as a homework. What will happen when you all appear with the exact same story the next day? You know it, you will get a bad rate and if you continue to do it, you will get expelled.
This is pretty much what goes on with the search engine optimization, the bots that are crawling the sites go from page to page, from site to site and when they reach those with the same content they don't record the page anymore, or they do at the end of google page list. They are the teachers that are expelling you. What can you do? Well... take a few minutes and tell your guests something about you in your unique way. While you do it, you can read a little about SEO and you will discover that if you want to rank for a specific keyword, you need to place it strategically around the page. I will give you an example:
Let's say our model is a softcore one, her shows are more erotic and her style is close to a girlfriend, let's then offer your members a GIRLFRIEND EXPERIENCE.
