Logitech HD Pro Webcam C920
I thought this Cam was only Supposed to Not only Video Chat but also Film in 1080p. My Videos are clearer but the seem to upload in as the 740p
what am i doing wrong

Are you recording through a program that supports 1080p?
The camera itself can handle it, but not all programs allow you to record in 1080p.
For example, if you're hooking your cam up to something like photobooth, I'm pretty sure the best you can do is 720p, regardless of your camera's capabilities.
What is everyone's program of choice? I use Manycam to record and Logitech's capturing program crashes for me. I can only use the smaller remote app.
