Pornhub Sync?
Hello MC,
Could someone please explain to me how the Pornhub sync feature works exactly?
As someone who already makes money on pornhub directly, I'd be curious as to what the actual benefits and drawbacks to using this feature would be. I don't see any information suggesting that we should join the model payment program if we haven't already, so is that something MC does for us automatically or do you have some other arrangement with Pornhub? Are our IDs being sent to Pornhub without our knowledge and explicit permission?
Pornhub also requires that all preformers in videos taking advantage of the MPP be verified or else your earnings will be put on hold until they are. Same question-- does MC have a special arraingement with pornhub to take care of this? Are the IDs of our co-preformers being send to Pornhub without our knowledge and explicit permission?
Similarly, the page with the instructions doesn't explain how things like categories and tags work-- which are hugely important to properly circulating content around pornhub, and they cannot be added after a video is published. How do we choose those?
Do we get paid through pornhub, or through modelcentro? Where can we keep an eye on our earnings?
Pornhub's model program now extends beyond pornhub, but you have to visit your pornhub settings to opt into having your videos exported to youporn, redtube, and tube8-- with this sync feature, are we able to opt in? If so, how/where?
Pornhub's model program also has a content protection option. (I don't recommend using it, but it's beneficial for some people) do we have the choice to opt in to this? If so, how/where?

Please excuse the delay as we've had to postpone the feature announcement due to some issues that arose when it went live. Let me address your questions:

If you link an existing account, no further approval is necessary. If you create a new one, your MC approval will auto-verify you with PornHub. We do not disclose any of your personal information – it is stored with MC safely and PornHub trusts this verification.

As per our privacy policy, again, we do not share any private information with third parties. As with new accounts created via the SynC feature, PH trusts that we have the documents for all performers.

The tags and categories are transferred with the video information and requested when you choose a video to be distributed via SynC. You will be required to add them before sending your content to PornHub.

If you already had a PH account, you will continue getting paid through their platform. If you create a new account while connecting SynC, you will be paid your ad revenue by ModelCentro. In the latter case, you will be able to see the earnings in your transactions list. These are not dynamic (they don't update with every earned dollar), instead you will see a new transaction every month with your PornHub earnings in bulk on the transactions list and it will be paid out with your MC payout.

At this time, only PornHub integration is available through SynC, although we look forward to expanding the reach to other tubes, including those in the PH network.

Are the earnings earned through PornHub subject to the 25% MC Fee that is currently being paid to MC??
@Natalie - thank you for the clarification! WatchitDry also brought up a good question that I meant to, but forgot to include. Are earnings earned through PH with the MC sync feature subject to the 25% MC fee that other transactions are subject to? I assume nothing will change for people already a part of Pornhub's program, but do not understand how it will work for people signing up through MC.

All income generated through the use of ModelCentro’s software is subject to standard revenue share splits of the platform.
Is there a way to delete a video once its been sent? I didn't get a confirmation that the video sent so I clicked it multiple times, now I have the same video processing 3x, also if we decide we want the videos taken down later could we go in and delete them all off even if they have earned ad revenue
Its showing the video as published 3x on modelcentro for pornhub but isnt showing up under my account on my pornhub account on pornhubs website at all even though I synced them
nvm. I figured out how to delete the duplicates xD. and the video finally showed up under my account, theres about an hour delay in publishing it here before it shows up there under my account
Unfortunately, PH has some nasty rules regarding uploaded vids. If you make any money on it (ads revenue share), you cannot delete the video, even if you delete your PH account. This means your videos are forever displayed on PH! Not sure if vids from MC will be subject to those rules?
My Question Can we Edit Full Videos down in Length before Sending them to our Video to PH
