Should you tag yourself in Twitter posts? Twitter Etiquette
The short answer is no. Basically, when you tag your twitter account in Twitter it's the equivalent of speaking about yourself in third-person. And Lauren thinks speaking about yourself in third-person is a bad idea. When someone retweets you, your twitter handle is automatically in the tweet. It is considered bad Twitter etiquette to tag yourself. As you can see in this tweet, @Sarah_Wow retweeted @7_Veils and the 7 Veils twitter handle is still in the tweet.

you can reply an old tweet of yours to re-up it in the TL
you can do this like 5 times then it doesn't reup your tweet anymore
