((( IDEA))) Full access included to all 100+ exclusive sites

Hello MC Team I had an idea regarding expanding/promoting other models. From what I see on other porn websites some companies offer members:  You, (Paying member) get full access included to all 100+ exclusive sites.) So I was thinking since Model Centro already has the Models.xxx Promotion I think Models should be able to Opt in or be able to choose other models they want to promote & include/be available to paying members.

Would this be an option? Or would anyone else be interested in this idea?

Would love to hear everyone's feedback

  • I am also thinking about that. Do I use Adultcentro for things that may not interest and pay monthly? I'd love this middle option.

  • I am with you on this. I think this would be a great addition to our site.

  • Desirablebottom  , this is a cool idea and we've already got a few similar requests frown  Right now our dev team is working down a list of priorities, and currently I believe they are working on pay-per-minute live shows, as well as a content store plugin, however, this idea is on the list.

For now, I'd recommend taking a closer look at the affiliate program, it allows to promote other model websites and get money from your marketing efforts.

Thank you VERY much for the feedback tho, please keep the ideas coming!

  • Great thanks for the prompt reply @SashaGreen looking forward to the new updates

  • I've heard such questions from talents before, but I guess we all forgetting one thing:

Maintaining the site, content storage, content delivery, cms - it's all cost money. So ModelCentro taking some % from the revenue. Right. I guess some sites are more profitable than others.

Now let's compare: networks that maintain sign ups for 100 sites:

    1) Usually got rights and licenses for all the content, so their profit from each sign up is like 90% (100% minus billing)

    2) Have to maintain just those 100 sites

    3) Got tons of content to schedule updates years upfront

    4) Got network's professional marketing team that promotes those sites

    Now ModelCentro:

    1) Getting 25% per sign up (minus billing so like 22.5% or something)

    2) Have to maintain thousands of sites (even the ones where talent abandoned or got 1 scene with 1 minute duration

Being an affiliate I am frequently going through the sites that got Aff program enabled and it takes me like 40 minutes now to find a single proper site among all the sites with affiliate program enabled. Because people think that if they got 1 scene with 5 minutes duration - they can reach out to affiliates. Or if they got default design and default texts and no content.

So I'm guessing unless network would be doing 10s of sign ups per day it would be pretty much money loss for the platform, because realistically it would be not so much sign ups compared to a solo site, but yet team would have to maintain 100 sites with nearly same revenue.

Now about how it would work to the models - either you would be having tons of free members that could steal your content, flame you, do whatever they want AND they would be free.. Or you would be getting few cents per member. Simple breakdown:

Sign up is $22 (for easier calculation)

    $2 goes to biller

    $5 goes to MC

    $15 / 100 = 15c per member

Aaand if it's affiliate traffic = 7.5c per member. We took monthly option there, and $22 is not too much competitive in the world of $19.99. Now imagine it would be 2 days trial for $2 ...

Now realistic scheme that you should be doing:

Join affiliate program, promote your friend through your site with an affiliate link. She get's something, you get something. If she is doing the same - you also exchanging some bits of traffic.

    How to promote properly?

No, having page with tons of links/banners is a bad idea. Google will rip off your ranking for link dumping and contentless page. On other hand doing frequent blog posts with quality text and keywords and aff link to her site = good. Not only it will boost your own traffic, but will also be considered as a quality promotion by search engines.

Of course for members it is not the same as joining tons of free sites, but (!) both of you basically doubling your profits, because as an affiliate each of you getting 50% = exact share of that join, and then if you are doing good job keeping your members - rebills will become precious.

    Conslusion:

If you are having poor sign up ratio or just 20 members and you want to have 1000 members - rather collect funds from those 20 and invest into ADs or marketing specialist. Or/and ask your trusted members or whales to invest into your site or/and to help you with promotion. I'm sure they will be happy to help.

    Yours trully.

  • The revshare the models get is the complex part. It would have to be algorithm-driven and based on customer interaction with the various model sites. Otherwise, you could have a model with zero content and zero traffic piggybacking on the profits of MC and other models, and that is nowhere close to being fair.

If you want to see how effective a membership model such as that is, you should check out Diverxity (and connect with me there ;) It's actually a good site for driving traffic, too). You can see how dilluted profits get when you've got a revshare model like the one being suggested.

    The reason you see networks offering deals with access to all their sites is;

    A) It's the same company running all the sites in the network. It's not 100 different companies receiving less than a doller per month, per conversion.

    B) Paysites have it tough right now. We're in the tube generation. They really need everything in their arsenal to drive sales. Upsell / cross-sell included.

Hell, a lot of those sites will even take niche content they've already got and deploy a brand-new niche site using that. A lot of those sites are 100% duplicate content. Example; take all the lesbian content and make a lesbian niche paysite. Same thing with deepthroat, teen, big tits, go down the list category-by-category.

yes! id love to see the "pay per minute" or "pay to see" option on MC for live shows..as a camgirl this would help immensly plus bring more traffic in

  • @CamilaCherry

Ya know, it might be a somewhat complex undertaking, but if MC could figure out a way to build up a camming site that echos out all the MC models that are currently doing shows, it could be profitable. I don't know how many models are livestreaming at any given time, but I can't imagine it's any less than sites like NeedLive that seem to just barely be hanging in there.

Would also make it very easy to feature a website button below the chatroom, much like what MC does with the Streamate integration.

  • yes! perfect idea! that would definetly be profitable and as a camgirl I have to say that if MC were to implent such a feature id totally stop camming on MFC as, I would have no reason to do so. I was totally thinking about this earlier. Free for members (model controlled) and pay per minute for non members. Although, I have to say even though it would generate better sales I think about the traffic aspect of it when thinking about live shows. BIG camsites like MFC already have traffic because of the constant advertisments and each girl bringing their own traffic as well. So in other words its easier to earn tokens/money because theres millions of models and even more members (granted only a fraction actually spend on the models). As far as modelcentro goes, If US models were to do a pay per minute live show we would have to generate and bring in our own traffic twice as hard. Being that modelcentro isnt a camsite to being with, a member cant scroll upon us by "accident" as easy as they would on, lets say, MFC because WE bring the traffic to our OWN websites vs MFC you dont have to worry about bringing traffic because its already there. Thats the only con I see to the future upcoming "pay per minute" feature for the live show. NOWWW if they would do as you just stated, make modelcentro " a camming site that echos out all the MC models that are currently doing shows " like MFC or Camsoda or chaturbate then itd be easier for us to generate traffic to our live show on OUR OWN website. Maybe they could have it where only modelcentro models are allowed to do liveshows (if they were to make MC a camming site) vs. any girl just coming and thinking she can just use the liveshow feature and not take advantage to the rest of the site. Or they can have it where they have a "MC live shows" tab and it leads you to an "MFC layout" type of page where they put up every girl whos currrently doing a live show on MC and they can browse as they would on MFC or streamate. Obviously we wouldnt get paid in tokens and camscore wouldnt be a thing.

I think MC stated they have an app in the works? If so thatd make things 100% easier because when I make videos on my iphone instead of transferring the video to google drive to upload instead I can just upload on the app and do things at the touch of a button.

Combined with the MC app, pay per minute live shows for non members, and individual content product and video selling options id never have any reason to look at any other "create your own website/membership" websites.

Sorry for the novel. Hope you all understand where im coming. Tried to explain the best I could.

    xoxo,

    Cherry

  • @desireablebottom We plan to introduce friendships as an option in the future. Friendships would allow multiple models to join into a 'collective' to allow network style memberships. Idea is that models can then organize into groups however they see fit, and enable a collective memberhip experience, thus sharing member access or just cam shows.

Unfortunately this is not planned to be done in Q1 or Q2 of 2016, but hopefully Q3 or Q4 we'll get it done.

  • Regardless of time im patient & excited for the improvments & New Updates on the MC Platform. Thanks for the update📢 Greatly appreciated   @StanDaMan  😛

  • Honestly I don't think I would use that feature. There are some other things like having the option to search a site and better affiliate tools which I think would benefit models more.

  • @StanDaMan I'm sure there's some studios out there that will find some value in that.

  • @StanDaMan ;the friendships idea sounds really great I look forward to it in the future.
