Main page model Niche / Genre search

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but right now our model sites are somewhat standalone, we promote our own "site" for the most part, would modelcentro consider having a main site which can be would be used as somewhat of a landing site for people looking for a certain niche or genre of model?

A bit like myfreecams etc which have a search function/gallery set up, so you would go to modelcentro.com and search for big boobs for example and then get presented with all the modelcentro accounts that match that niche/

just a thought.....

  • They've got Models.xxx. Forget what the prereqs are to get listed, but I know it's having x-amount of videos.

  • @busty_von_tease,  @WebcamStartup  is right, we already have models.xxx  - MC-based websites directory where people can look for a certain genre of a model

  • @SashaGreen wow ok, sorry I must be living under a rock lol

how do we get on models.xxx ? are we there by default or is that something we need to set up?

  • busty_von_tease , you can activate models.xxx promotion right in the admin panel:

  • wow I'm such a dumb-ass !

are there any tips to maximizing the potiental of this? is there where its important to select genres on our material?

  • busty_von_tease , we're doing our best to promote this directory and what you can do is to write as much info as you can in the 'about me' section of you website to give models.xxx visitors an ability to see what is your site about

  • Hmm. I'm doing SEO this week little-by-little. I went to http://models.xxx/home and I see name, gender, latest updates... but no way to search by niche. Now I know the SJW's hate anybody to recognize the fact that we ARE of diverse and many races but my particular niche is Japanese. It's what I am, and what my guys want from me. So I tried to find sites I could opt-in to join their affiliate program. But I have no way to search for femdoms, Black Lesbians, Valley Girls, La China Poblana or whatever might turn me on at the moment except by scrolling. So I gave up. I bet a lot of guys do too. It's a GREAT site BUT until we recognize the existance of niches and embrace the diversity of the politically incorrect nature of human sexual perversions I'm going to have to drive traffic to my site from some other place than models.xxx. If we don't want to categorize the niches, we could just enable a Google site search box. Then "Japanese" would pull me up without tweaking.

  • Actually, should work out to your advantage. Having most sites bundling Japanese into the "Asian" niche means that they're not competing for the same keywords / longtails for you. Hurts with internal searching via Models.xxx, but as far as SEO goes, be lucky that not all huge sites (especially tube sites) have a Japanese category.

  • @Cathouse Kiteh I agree the inability to search seems furstrating when you are looking for a particular type of model or a model who shoots a certain type pf content.

  • I was reading a section where one for the seggestion was to put older video on tube site. I went thru and edited out a "commercial" and placed it on around 40 free tube site with my website on it, we'll see how it works throughout the month cause some of the tube sites take nearly a week to format your video for their site. I'll keep you all posted

  • Now that I've done the tube sites, any other extreemly hot ways to pull traffic? Where is a good place to buy true traffic, that I can use a $100 master card gift card?

  • @Sezzbious Here's a list of adult publisher / advertiser networks. I'd either try direct-buy on specific sites (in the amateur / camming niche) or try to find networks that have cheap bids for rotating ads in those same niches.

Never been much a fan of piad traffic / media-buy me, myself personally, but adult traffic is cheap and as long as it converts, fuck yeah!

  • @Sezzbious if you're not already, I'd suggest throwing some videos / photo galleries up on some of the sites for selling individual content sets. Most of them allow you to place a website link. Could be a good opportunity to upsell people interested in individual clips on the monthly membership. I'd definitely put a call-to-action for that in the description for the sites that allow you to.

At least that's earned media and not paid media. Good chance it results in sales and income, too. I'm much more of a fan of marketing that pays you - rather than marketing you pay for.

  • Some of the sites I posted to does let you use a URL as a video title but when I built the video I was sure to not only put my brands name (SexCult Video) but to also put the sites URL at the end of each scene. I use a portal instead of direct to this site just because that allowed me to join affiliate programs where some traffic can be diverted into the click pics and I get other moneys coming in as well. IE: http://pornofilmer.wix.com/adultvideos

  • @Sezzbious you got the right idea. I'd seriously just put up the $10 annually for a domain name and the couple bucks per month for some basic shared hosting and do something a little more self-hosted than Wix.

Not too many people really understand the affiliate marketing end of things though. Gotta squeeze every last buck out of traffic. Definetely got the right idea there.

  • How did you like the intro video? On the cell phone side of the site you have to click on the intro video but on the computer or tablet it auto plays. The thing about wix is if I buy into it which is cheap per year it will unlock more wigets and I can rechoose my domain nams something like www.SexCultVideo.com and the "wix" name would be fully removed from my domain.

How do I get into shared hosting?, and what is a good marketing idea to get people to join my affiliate program? I have the link at the bottom of my 2nd page like most othjer site.

  • One thing that is for sure is I do have to get more videos in both areas and plan on doing just that of course however; I am going to leave to do a season in Dutch Harbor Alaska for 4 months but before I leave I am tring to get at least 5 more videos put up.

  • Something else that I am doing right now is I am running adds in multiple back pages sites right now where I offer that if someone goes in, buys a membership, tells me what video they like the best and fully describes the action in the video that I will send them a CDR of that video and email pic sets to them of the same video.

  • Well, it's more of a contest really, a draw out of a hat type of deal.

  • Backpage working out for you? Tried it just to dabble and see if there was any response rate. Didn't get much. All phone sex operator inquiries too, which I don't make shit off phone sex. Why does everyone want to get paid from sexting anymore?

  • SashaGreen - Would it be possible to be listed on the models.xxx even if you did not use the models.xxx promotion within ModelCentro? I already had my own domain but I would still love to be promoted by ModelCentro in any other way possible, of course. ^_^ Thank you!

  • I got a couple of hits off of back pages, I know this cause on the wix portal I have a tracker but still no one buying any thing. Also I have about 6 of the same people coming in all of the time but not buying anything, Wonder igf I should have a sale and bring my membership from $5 to $2 a month for a minute.

Mika, do you mean that you don't want to have models.xxx as an affiliate or you want to promote your other website( built on another platform)?

  • @sashagreen - I'd like to promote my ModelCentro website on Models.xxx. However, I already had my own domain and I didn't use the .xxx promotion within my ModelCentro dashboard. I didn't realize that was an affiliate? I think Models.xxx was a ModelCentro advertiser?

  • @mika Even if you're using .com or whatever else, you can still choose to be listed on models.xxx. Just go to your dashboard - Promotion - Promotional Offers - Details & Setup next to Models.xxx Promotion - Activate.

I use it even though I don't use the .xxx domain, I use a .com that I purchased myself.
