Hi everyone,

After running my own site for the past 10+ years. I decided to give this site a try, and I love the many aspects of what this site has to offer. I feel as though there is a lot more we can to with the tools (or not) available. I just want to make it clear i am not complaining. I am just adding a few suggestions or ideas that I would like to see. 

Unlocked Content
For those of us that do not allow downloadable content it would be great to have a feature such as a “Vault” or for the files to stay within the “Uploads” feature for use to be able to pic and choose with a few clicks to send our content in a private message.

Hidden Join Page
I would like to be able to send to previous members a link to a hidden join page so that I can offer a membership at a discounted rate. I would also like to send a message to “Never Joined” and “Expired” fans with one message and not have to scroll through 100’s of people.

Join Option
I would like an option of different pricing plans for downloadable content vs. non downloadable content. Offer an option for a high price point to a members area that offers downloadable content and a lower price point for non downloadable content.

Members Area
I would like to see some differentiation between the tour page and the members area. A lot of messages I receive from fans are confused if they are even logged in and complain when they are only able to watch 45 second preview of the videos.

Also a nice feature would be to add the ability for downloadable content within the members area. 

Example would be: “Download this video for $$” or “Download this photo set for $$.”

Even on the tour would be great to have a feature to have.

Tips
Please add a description to the tip section (I understand how I have mine setup like a store) is not the exact use for the tip section, which leads me to…


Store
Please add a for tangible items, 8x10’s, apparel, etc.

Watermarking
I would love to add my content by watermarking the videos and images. However, the reason why I have not done that so far is because when you make the thumbnails for the previews the watermarking looks “tacky” gives a real amateur feel to the site. I wish the watermark was only seen on downloadable content or content within the members area. Not the small previous on the tour.

Social Media
Please add a feature for photos to be added to Twitter / Tumblr when adding a post from the blog or adding new content. The would look a lot better than just adding a link.

Blog
I would like to be able to post video clips. 

Promotional Tools / Affiliates
I would like to have a simple way to access hosted banners (or access to html pages), hosted movie and photo galleries after all the more promotion available to affiliates the more WE ALL MAKE.

    You can Already add a Photo when you tweet out New Content.

    Its in your Site Settings :)

    Hi Lisa I think its great to have your option on this. You have some really good suggestions, I to would love to see a difference with the member side. With the twitter/tumblr sometimes it works and other times it doesn't.

    Yeah whenever I post specifically images it will only post a link and not an image. The videos seem to work fine for Tumblr lately. I agree I have had issues of the videos sometime working and sometimes not working. I have never had an image correctly posted to social media only links.

    Hey there Lisa Sparxxx, I thought I commented but I didn't :) Great feedback and glad to have you here with such experience and trying to help us with your advice.
    A good portion of the suggestions are already in the idea box, like the hidden join pages and user groups with different permissions based on join options.
    A few things I wanted to get a better/clearer understanding on:
    The Vault idea - is that for users or models. Users can already save locked content in Favorites, they can also download it.
    What sort of differentiation for tour vs. members area would be something  you'd like to have?
    The tip section description - you mean this text? http://take.ms/nsvjO I'm a bit confused.
    I'll see what can be done in terms of where watermarks are set, but as far as I know it might be difficult to remove them from only the tour.
    Photos in social media should work already, please let me know if fixed for you.
    Video in blog - rolled out just yesterday :)
    Promo tools and affiliates - I totally agree, it's not as simple a task as we'd wish. Right now models who are active with affiliates usually have a dropbox file with banners etc. and send it over to the affiliate once they see one sign up. Definitely in the to do list.

    Thanks for getting back to me.

    Videos:
    It appears the videos we are only able to embed the video clips to the blog via a link. Which would be great. However a lot of sites do not allow nudity and I was hope that we could upload a video to the blog as we can with photos. 

    Example a proof video saying yes this is my "Yahoo Account" etc on video and in the blog.

    The Vault:
    The is would something like the "Uploads" folder where we can store a video to send to a fan when they request to download a video or image set. The content is always there and easy to grab to send to a fan wanting a particular contentset. This would help avoid having to upload set after set for each use.

    Members Area vs Tour Area:
    Currently the members area loos exactly the same as the tour pages. I have had fans signed into the members area and thought they were still on the tour page. It would be great to have a differentiation between the two. Even a banner that simply says welcome to my members are with a different color scheme. 

    Tips:
    The best way I can describe this is if a fan tips $30 for a skype show. That we are notified that a fan tipped $30 for a skype show. The issue I ran across is that I had 10 different 8x10's that I was selling in the tip section. I would get a notification of a $5 tip. I had no idea if this was a flat out tip or which 8x10 the fan was ordering.

    404 Error Page:
    I mentioned this to Jonathan and I would like to have a little more content on the 404 error page. Right now I have three videos and the videos are not aligned correctly. Looks a little strange to be honest. Looks like and after thought page and 404 pages do convert when there is content on the page.

    SEO Title Pages:
    I would really like to fix the warning page description for SEO results.
    "Lisa Sparxxx: Home" does not look right to me. I think "Lisa Sparxxx: Porn veteran of over 300 films or something different would benefit us more in the page descriptions. I also brought this up to Jonathan as well.

    Lisa Sparxxx and thank you once again for your input!

    Let me go over your suggestions: 

    Ability to upload videos to your Blog is planned functionality. Most likely, this will be a part of the Uploads section so that you will be able to post a uploaded video to your blog, the same way you can it already do with images. So far, most of the requests asked for youtube/vimeo videos mainly, since the more kinky stuff is done via the videos section, while a lot of models use YT/V for vlogs and just want to transfer it to their site's blog as well.

    As for the Vault, we have the Uploads section, where you can store videos/photos and send them to your fans whenever you want. 

    I like your idea about the differentiation between the tour page and the member’s area. I was thinking of adding an ability to edit member’s area as a separate section to MC Site Editor. I'll add this idea to the requests inbox.

    When your fans or guests want to tip, they are able to add a message and specify whether they want to purchase something or it’s for your skype show.  You can add a text to the ‘Tip me’ Page saying something like ‘If you want to purchase something from my store, please send me the details via private message’.

    Jonathan will contact you regarding 404 error page and SEO title pages tasks. As far as I know, both tasks are ready for rollout.

    To clarify the Vault/Uploads idea. The "Uploads" section I have used but after I upload a video or image the video or image is removed from the "Uploads" section. 

    I am looking for more functionality out of the "Uploads" folder. Currently after I upload a photo to the blog or update the site with a video it is removed from the "Uploads" section.

    This is why I called the section a "Vault" a place to store content continuously (whether used in a blog post or not). It will be great if there was a way to copy over our content that we have already uploaded in the "Uploads" section so we can send to fans to "Unlock" without this having to be a timely process of reuploading the videos to be unlocked for download.

    Nice thread here, I would like to add a little myself. I have also been in the industry around 10 years, running multiple sites with an affiliate program.

    1. the members area being different would solve a lot of confusion on weather you are logged in or not and also make the members get a feeling that they got more than just the videos being unlocked etc. (kinda hard to explain)  I believe a simple banner would do the trick.

    2. Affiliate programs make or break sites. A serious affiliate isn't going to go to your drop box for materials or accept them through emails. It would be great to have a place to upload simple banners fhg's etc. MC could have a cash page where affiliates could browse sites and get materials in one place. I'm sure you guys would at least double your profits in no time making it well worth the little extra programming and bandwidth.

    3. Adding an option to be able to disable "date added" That's only good for sales when sites are updating on a regular basis.

    4. One I would love to see is, being able to change the header for each page.

    5. The availability to edit your sites html. (I have asked for this and was denied, being told to just make requests to your staff for simple edits). Not a major thing but would be nice, I understand the platform is designed for basic solo models.

    6. As a studio account being able to give models more of a restricted access. 

     I'm not complaining, these are just suggestions I have. As a matter a fact I love your set up and how easy it is. I have had the best of the best when it comes to cms's, hosting and affiliate software's. There is no doubt I like your set-up best!

    Lisa Sparxxx you're right, they do get moved to respectively video or blogs when you publish the photos and videos from the uploads. I'll see if there's a way to lock them in uploads instead.
